About Ryan Painter

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm a self taught photographer who concentrates on fine art images consisting primarily of black and white long exposure of seascapes, landscapes and architecture. My passion for photography began when I purchased my first DSLR and I started photographing landscape scenes throughout New Mexico. The ocean has always fascinated me and by using a camera I can capture a small window of time that conveys the endless patterns created from the tidal motion of the sea . When I'm not looking through the lens, I develop software application (like this one), ride bikes, and enjoy playing in water. I currently reside in the beautiful state of Oregon.
